The Details - Em's Surgery

Just changed into her "new" gown.

Coloring her hospital dolly...

This is dolly's face after Versed or "happy juice." Oops!

Thanks for the prayers. Emily's surgery went well. Dr. Little said her tonsils and adenoids were both extremely large. When she got home from surgery, she ate 12,384 popsicles. Today was a little harder. It's hard to soothe a post-tonsillectomy throat when you have a dairy and egg allergy....no ice-cream, scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, or chicken noodle soup. Oh and by the way did you know that when you make instant chocolate pudding with rice milk, it doesn't firm?!

We praise God for the soft food she can eat AND WILL!

Stayed tuned for future posts with allergy free recipes tried in our own test kitchen!

Meanwhile, this little guy is wondering what in the heck is happening. All of a sudden he is not the center of attention/sole inhabitant of Mom's arms.
More updates soon!

Glad everything went smoothly at the hospital. If we can bring any allergy free frozen treats by, we'd love to. Tell little Emily, Sophie hopes she gets well soon!

Sweet girl! Glad it's behind her! And look at baby boy's eyes...how could you ever tell him 'no'!
