An interview with the girls

Saw this on someone else's blog....thought it would be cute. Note: we were painting at the time and it had some influence on a few answers! Mary Caroline is 4.5 and Emily is 2.5. It will be funny to hear how their answers change as they get older. Enjoy!

P.S. I asked them these questions at different times, so that Emily wouldn't just repeat what MC said.

1. What is something Mommy always says to you?
MC - I love you
Em - I "lub" you

2. What makes Mom happy?
MC - When we obey
Em - Your face

3. What makes Mom sad?
MC - When we don't obey (makes sense based on the previous answer)
Em - Your face

4. How does your Mom make you laugh?
MC - When you tickle me
Em - She didn't answer b/c she was too busy dot painting at the time.

5. What was your Mom like as a child?
MC - You played with Bibbie (my mom)
Em - You play

6. How old is your Mom? (32)
MC - 51 (whoa....note to self...put on some make up and go fix your hair)
Em - 2

7. How tall is your Mom?
MC - 3 inches
Em - "SO BIG" (She help up both arms. We've been playing this game with Jake)

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
MC - Color with me
Em - Paint rocks (don't ask because I have NO idea)

9. What does your Mom do when you're at school?
MC - Get on your computer
Em - Work in your "oppice" (office)

10. If your Mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
MC - Doing art
Em - (I didn't even bother asking this one to her)

11. What is you Mom really good at?
MC - Playing with me
Em - No answer except (Can I please have a 'notter color of paint?)

12. What is your Mom not good at?
MC - Cutting?
Em - (Mom, could you peas help me get 'dis top back on my paint?)

13. What does your Mom do for a job?
MC - Work for Kat in the Hat (not as in Dr. Suess...check her out www.katinthehatdesigns.com her stuff is great!)
Em - Work on 'you desk

14. What is your Mom's favorite food?
MC - Carrots (umm....maybe if they are carrot-shaped chocolates)
Em - Chicken

15. If your Mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
MC - Minnie Mouse
Em - Elmo (thanks kids...I was thinking more along the line of super woman - ha)

16. What do you and your Mom do together?
MC - Color
Em - Play in da playroom

17. How are you and your Mom the same?
MC - We have the same hair
Em - "SO BIG"

18. How are you and Mom different?
MC - We don't have the same hands (she was stretching for this one....looking me up and down at the table. I guess she saw some wrinkled 'ol hands and knew that they didn't look like hers)
Em - "I don't know"

19. How do you know your Mom loves you?
MC - You hug on me a lot
Em - Just 'acause

20. What does your Mom like most about your Dad?
MC - When he loves on you.
Em - (No answer)

21. Where is your Mom's favorite place to go?
MC - Art store (remember what we were doing at the time)
Em - New York (or Yawk as she says)
